PACKAGE LOST! shipped by DHL from stila cosmetics?

what do i do i ordered a 108 $ worth of cosmetics by stila and they shipped it through DHL and the delivery guy showed up today and told me that he delivered it yesterday at my house and it is missing, DHL tells me to contact stila to ship me another package, stila is not responding to my phone calls, what do i do is my money gone for good,

I don't think Stila is required to give you your money back. They shipped the goods. The fault lies with the delivery guy....Did the DHL delivery guy say who he gave the package to? I don't think they are supposed to just leave the package on the ground or out in plain view for people to take. Check with DHL if there is a signature for the lost package. If you live in an appartment then one of your neibors may have picked it up. You might be able to file a claim with DHL if there is no signiture for it. If you paid with visa you may be able to file a claim with them (they have buyers insurance so if you never recieve a product you wont lose your money). I really don't think the shipper Stila will pay for this, as most companies never do. Try DHL and then try your credit card company.
Contact Stila, ask for a replacement shipment and threaten to charge the item back on your credit card. Insist that the 2nd shipment require a signature.
Try and contact Stila again, send an e-mail to customer service and print a copy for yourself. Stila will deal with DHL to get a refund since DHL is THEIR shipper. If Stila does not reply, call your credit company and tell them the situation and that you want to dispute the charge.





You paid Stila to get merchandise to YOU, it is up to them to deal with DHL. We recently had the same problem with Fedex, they swore up and down that they delivered the package, later we found out it was delivered to a different address, also left in front of their door. We had received a replacement from the shipper in the mean time.
